Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything about ActivDay — our 80% milk protein, how to use it, who it's for, and why it's different.

1. Why is ActivDay more expensive than some other protein products?+
ActivDay is made with high-protein milk protein concentrate (about 80% protein), not a carbohydrate-based or low-protein powder. The price reflects the concentration and quality of the milk protein and the cold-filtration processing used to make it. When comparing protein products, don't look only at the packet price — compare the protein percentage, serving size, ingredients and the actual protein delivered per serving.
2. Isn't ActivDay just another protein powder?+
No. ActivDay is based on Milk Protein Concentrate (MPC). Unlike a product based only on whey, milk protein concentrate naturally contains both casein and whey proteins — in roughly an 80:20 casein-to-whey ratio, the way they occur in milk. This gives ActivDay a different protein profile from a conventional whey-only product.
3. Why should I choose ActivDay instead of a regular whey protein?+
Whey and milk protein concentrate are not the same thing. Whey protein is predominantly whey and is generally faster-digesting. ActivDay's milk protein concentrate contains both casein and whey. If you want a milk-based protein source for everyday nutrition rather than a whey-focused sports supplement, ActivDay offers a different nutritional profile.
4. What does 80% protein actually mean?+
It means approximately 80 g of protein per 100 g of powder. For example, a 15 g serving of ActivDay provides about 12 g of protein. This is why it is important to look at the serving size as well as the percentage printed on the pack.
5. Why does the packet look small if it contains so much protein?+
Because ActivDay is a concentrated protein product. You don't need to consume a large quantity of powder to get your protein. ActivDay Prime and Choco have a recommended serving size of 15 g.
6. Does ActivDay contain added sugar?+
ActivDay is designed as a protein-rich product, but exact ingredient and nutrition information can vary by variant, so always check the ingredient list and nutrition panel printed on the pack. For Prime and Choco, sugar can be added separately for taste if you wish.
7. Does ActivDay contain fillers?+
ActivDay is designed around milk protein concentrate as its primary protein source. "Filler" isn't a precise nutritional category — different products use different combinations of ingredients. The best way to compare is to check the protein percentage, ingredients and nutrition panel rather than assuming.
8. Is ActivDay vegetarian?+
Yes. EnNutrica states that its products are 100% vegetarian and made from cow's milk.
9. Is ActivDay made from real milk?+
Yes. EnNutrica's milk protein concentrate is produced from skimmed milk using a cold-filtration process, and is described as native milk protein containing both casein and whey.
10. What is special about EnNutrica's cold-filtration process?+
The milk is processed through a mechanical cold-filtration process designed to separate lactose and concentrate the proteins while retaining their native structure. EnNutrica states that no chemical or biological process is used to produce its milk protein concentrate.
11. What is the difference between casein and whey?+
Both are naturally occurring milk proteins, but they behave differently during digestion. Whey is generally faster-digesting and casein is generally slower-digesting. ActivDay's milk protein concentrate contains both, in roughly an 80:20 casein-to-whey ratio.
12. How much protein do I get from one serving?+
The recommended serving size for Prime and Choco is 15 g. At about 80% protein, that is around 12 g of protein per serving. Your total daily protein requirement depends on body weight, age, activity level and overall diet — ActivDay is meant to complement a balanced diet, not replace it.
13. How do I use ActivDay?+
Take 2 heaped scoops (15 g) of powder, add about 50 ml of water and mix, then add another 150 ml of water, milk or other ingredients, stir thoroughly and consume immediately. You can also add ActivDay to suitable foods and beverages.
14. Can I mix ActivDay with milk?+
Yes. The product instructions allow ActivDay to be prepared with water or milk.
15. Can I add ActivDay to my normal food?+
Yes. Milk protein concentrate is commonly used to add protein to beverages, foods, bars and cereals. This is the idea behind Protify Any Food You Eat — adding protein to everyday foods rather than only having a traditional shake.
16. Who can use ActivDay?+
ActivDay is a source of protein and nutrition for people who want to increase their dietary protein intake. Your appropriate intake depends on age, body weight, activity level and overall diet. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition, a diagnosed milk allergy or are on a medically prescribed diet, consult your doctor or a qualified dietitian first.
17. Can children use ActivDay?+
Different ActivDay products are intended for different consumer groups. Don't assume an adult product is automatically suitable for children — follow the product's age guidance and serving instructions. For children with specific nutritional requirements, consult a pediatrician or qualified dietitian.
18. Can I take ActivDay every day?+
Yes, ActivDay can be part of a regular diet when used according to the recommended serving instructions. However, it should supplement your diet, not replace a balanced diet.
19. Will ActivDay help me build muscle?+
Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. However, simply consuming more protein doesn't automatically build muscle — that also depends on adequate training, total calorie intake, recovery and overall nutrition. ActivDay helps you add high-quality milk protein to your diet.
20. Will ActivDay help me lose weight?+
ActivDay is a protein-rich food that can fit into a calorie-controlled diet, but ActivDay itself does not cause weight loss. Weight management depends primarily on total calorie intake, food choices, physical activity and overall lifestyle.
21. Can I use ActivDay if I am trying to gain weight?+
It can be part of a weight-gain diet because it provides protein, but weight gain depends on consuming enough total calories over time. For healthy weight gain, combine ActivDay with an appropriate overall diet rather than using it as the sole strategy.
22. Is ActivDay a meal replacement?+
No. ActivDay is a protein-rich nutritional product and should not be treated as a complete replacement for a balanced meal. Use it alongside your normal meals or add it to suitable foods and beverages.
23. Does ActivDay contain whey protein?+
Yes, but ActivDay's key distinction is that it is based on milk protein concentrate, which contains both casein and whey — in roughly the natural 80:20 casein-to-whey ratio.
24. Why shouldn't I simply drink more milk instead?+
Milk is an excellent food, but it contains a lot of water, lactose and fat. Milk protein concentrate is made specifically to concentrate milk proteins, so ActivDay gives you a convenient way to add a higher amount of milk protein without drinking a large volume of milk.
25. Why does EnNutrica cost more than some low-priced protein products?+
Because not all protein powders are nutritionally equivalent. A cheaper product may have a different protein concentration, protein source, serving size or formulation. Instead of comparing rupees per packet, compare rupees per gram of actual protein — and also look at protein percentage, source, serving size, ingredients, carbohydrate content, fat content and manufacturing quality.
26. Is ActivDay the cheapest protein available?+
No — and it is not designed to be. ActivDay is positioned around high-quality milk protein and protein concentration, not the lowest price. If your only criterion is the cheapest protein per serving, there will always be cheaper options; if you compare protein quality, source, concentration and nutritional profile, compare the labels carefully.
27. How do I know that EnNutrica is a genuine manufacturer?+
EnNutrica is not simply a consumer-facing label. The company manufactures dairy ingredients including milk protein concentrates, whey products, casein and milk powders, which are supplied to businesses — ActivDay is its retail range. EnNutrica also states its milk is procured through village-level collection centres and its products undergo quality-control processes.
28. Where is EnNutrica manufactured?+
EnNutrica's protein manufacturing operations are based in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, India. The company began production of milk protein concentrates and dairy ingredients in 2015 and became Dindigul Farm Product Limited in 2024.
29. Does ActivDay contain artificial ingredients?+
This depends on the specific ActivDay variant. Don't assume every ActivDay product has exactly the same formulation — please refer to the ingredient list printed on the particular pack before purchase.
30. What if I am lactose intolerant or allergic to milk?+
ActivDay is a milk-derived product and therefore is not appropriate for anyone with a milk-protein allergy. Lactose tolerance varies from person to person depending on the amount consumed and individual sensitivity. If you have a diagnosed milk allergy, lactose intolerance or another dietary restriction, consult your doctor or dietitian before using ActivDay.
31. Can I take ActivDay before or after exercise?+
Yes, ActivDay can be part of your daily protein intake around your exercise routine. There is no requirement to consume it at one specific time — your total daily protein intake and overall nutrition matter more than exact timing.
32. Why choose ActivDay over a normal health drink?+
The key difference is protein concentration and source. Prime and Choco provide about 80 g of protein per 100 g of powder, whereas many traditional health drinks are formulated around a broader nutritional profile rather than being highly concentrated protein. Always compare the nutrition labels rather than brand names alone.
33. Can I use ActivDay with coffee, smoothies or other foods?+
Yes. ActivDay can be added to suitable beverages and foods, so you can add protein to your existing routine rather than making a completely separate meal. Protify Any Food You Eat.
34. How should I compare ActivDay with another protein product?+
Don't compare products on packet price alone. Compare five things: 1) Protein source (milk, whey, plant or a combination), 2) Protein concentration (grams of protein per 100 g), 3) Protein per serving, 4) Ingredients, and 5) Cost per gram of protein. That gives a much more meaningful comparison.
35. Why is ActivDay different?+
Because the focus is not simply on putting the word protein on the label. ActivDay is built around native milk protein, combining casein and whey, with about 80% protein in Prime and Choco. It is designed to make high-quality milk protein convenient for everyday nutrition — From Milk to Protein to Your Everyday Food.
