Because whey is the easy option. It is a by-product of cheese-making, bought and sold in bulk worldwide — anyone can order a sack, add flavouring and print a label. Milk protein concentrate has to be made from milk, by someone who can filter fresh milk at scale and keep it food-safe end to end.

ActivDay is a milk protein concentrate — the complete protein of milk, containing both micellar casein and whey in their natural ratio. Unlike whey-only supplements, you get fast and slow-release protein for steady, lasting energy.
Does it contain added sugar, fillers or artificial flavours?+

How much protein per serving?+
Each 15 g serving delivers 12 g of protein (80% protein) with 0 g added sugar — around 51–54 kcal. To use: add 15 g to 150 ml of warm water or milk, shake or stir well, and consume immediately.
What is the difference between MPC and whey protein (WPC)?+
Milk protein is roughly 80% casein and 20% whey. WPC — whey protein concentrate — is made from whey, the liquid left over when milk is turned into cheese, so it gives you only that 20% fraction and releases fast. MPC — milk protein concentrate — is made from fresh skimmed milk by cold filtration and keeps both proteins in their natural ratio, so you get fast release from the whey and slow, steady release from the micellar casein. It also carries milk's natural calcium: 300 mg a serving.
Why do so few brands sell MPC?+
Whey is easy to source — it is a by-product of cheese-making and is traded worldwide, so any brand can buy it in bulk, flavour it and put a label on it. Milk protein concentrate has to be produced from milk itself, which needs dairy processing capability and food-safety control from the farm onward.
